Got my windows tinted on my Silverado

Here is a before picture:

After:

Inside view of sunstrip:

They went a little low on the sunstrip but I'm going to give it a try.... might have to pull it off and go back to get a smaller one.

I told them to go twice the AS1 line but they went about three times :P

Tell me what you think

^^You don't have to pull off the whole thing. When I had to cut mine I just got a long ass metal ruler and put it to the height i wan't it and cut it accross w/ a razor. Ofcourse it helps to have someone helping you. Tint make the truck look nicer.

What does SVU stand for?

Sun Visor U...?

I'm not sure if sunstrip is the techinical term for it but that's what I've always heard it called

Are you thinking of SUV? SUV refers to something with an enclosed rear such as a Toyota Land Cruiser.

The above vehicle is a full size truck, which I think is only common to North America. It is similar to a HiLux, but bigger and it can carry more.

I'm guessing you are accustomed to seeing vehicles such as Holden Ute or Ford Falcons utes over there more often.

ford.com.au has Ford F-250 listed on there but it's under the commerical trucks section, so I'm guessing that they are not very common for personal use.

I plan on putting chrome "nerf bars" (the step bars on the side that people put) so the kids and my girl and get in and out easy. That's about it for the exterior.

I plan on getting an intake and dual exhaust for it. The Magnaflow duals will probably come late October.

For interior, I plan on getting an indash tv and a drop down tv for entertainment along with a custom Q-Logic enclosure for a 10" or 12" sub (whatever they have) that fits under the back seat and matches the interior perfect.

That's about it though.

it's a 2wd right? it'd be pretty cool if you dropped the rear a few inches to even it out. No front end dive...

I had an 03 reg cab 4X4 that was Dark Gray Metallic....that was a nice color. I like the black on mine, but it shows way too many imperfections, but it does look excellent clean!

Do NOT drop the back a few inches...raise the front a few. Get Some BFG All-Terrains or even Rugged Trails...something a little more truck-like. Get a lift, or just put it on some blocks...it'd look sick.

Looks good with the tint though.
