update on 1mz build and new ride

I finally received the last of my engine parts and will be assembling the engine this weekend. The car has been apart since November and i was very close to giving up and moving on. Now i can see the light at the end of the tunnel and it's full steam ahead!

Eagle 22r rods machined to fit the 1mz crank with shaved 22r Clevite bearings.

HPC coated JE pistons.

Balanced ACT pressure plate (w/ new sprung 6 puck disk) and lightened/balanced stock flywheel.

All the parts sitting on my toolbox at work.

The crank had rust on it which pissed me off a little but it was just surface rust from sitting at the machine shop without oil on it.

and my new parts hauler...1990 Acura Integra LS 5 speed. I picked it up for $1300 with 230k miles but it is CLEAN. I looked at quite a few cars before finally getting this one and im extremely happy with it.

Doing what it was meant to do, HAUL MY PARTS!

Some pics of my poor Camry... it has a new bumper, new fenders and faded cf hood waiting to be painted. The entire front end will be painted once im finished with the engine. I have some other goodies in store for it but wont be able to work on them until i get it back into my shop which has another car taking up space right now.

I'll post some more once my motors finished and in the car.

I have never had my car on a working dyno. The only time its been on the rollers they were having problems with the dyno and i never got any data. I tune the car on the street with my wideband so it was running good, i would say the car had 250whp or so before i tore it apart. This time around the car will be dynoed and i'll post some numbers once i get them. I definetly want to get some numbers before its boosted again just to set a baseline.

Thanks, ive done quite a bit of work to the Integra. I spent some time at the u-pull-it junkyard pulling parts to fix all the little things like broken electrical plugs, cracked taillights, broken interior parts etc. I also did some rewiring and started removing things i dont think are necessary. I really want to modify it but ive decided that i need to finish my Camry first.

The supercharger is sold. I've tried bolt ons, nitrous and a supercharger so its only natural i go turbo.
