Oh yeah, they are a blast. They turn and stop on a dime and if you run it wide open it will accelerate through the gears as fast as you can shift.
Youve gotta be a little carefull though. If you have a quad like mine and dont have respect for what it can do, it can hurt you. A friend of mine races his quad and he recently blew out his knee trying to do an 87' jump. He came up short, got bounced up off the quad and basically did a superman and banged his knee. He has been outta work for a month and had to have reconstructive surgey on his knee. He also had to pay $1500 for an ambulance ride from the track to the hospital. Not fun! He had planned on getting a new truck and moving out of his parents' house, but with all his hospital bills I doubt thats gonna happen now.
Im not quite as crazy as he is, I dont do MX. I do flattrack dirt and ice racing, which is relatively safe. I figure that drifting sideways at 50 mph is a lot safer than being 30 feet up in the air and having to worry about coming up short, casing or overshooting the jump. IMO, people who race MX are crazy!

Haha, you bet I know who your employer is. My family has owned various Polaris products since the late '70s (sleds, quads and watercraft) and they still are loyal to Polaris, but Im not.
IMO, Polaris has been in decline since the late '90s.

Yeah, Im all about the toys. For the past year I worked on having a steady girlfriend, but Ive kinda given up on that and am getting back to the toys. I look at it this way, I can beat the hell out of my quad and sled, call if a "f-ing whore" when it gets on my nerves and ditch it to go out drinking with the guys and it will never leave me or cheat on me. You cant say the same about a woman.
The Polaris sled is nice, but I would have preferred a Yamaha. I was in the market for a good used Yamaha 600 SX or SXr, but the deal I got on the Polaris was so sweet that I couldnt turn it down. You notice in that pic that Im riding a Polaris, but I wear a Yamaha suit.
I'll probably end up selling both sleds so that I can focus more time and money on the quad. I want to start racing it next year, which isnt going to leave a lot of time and money for the sled. Besides, the winters have been so pathetic lately that sometimes I think the sled isnt even worth owning anymore. Its fun, but it sucks that you spend so much money on a sled and then you barely get to use it.

I love toys too, the reason I bought a truck was so that I have something to carry my Yamaha on

We got caried away with Victory and put all the engineering efford there. We are in the middle of revitalizing the snowmobile lineup.
