This '92 Gen3 belongs to a friend of mine and TN member, Alex187. Met up with other friends last Saturday and did some cleaning/picture taking... so here goes:
Wheels before... dust
Wheels after..
During the clean/etc, I was tasked with plug inspection and cleaning the throttle body... TB is now perfectly clean, and this 3VZ probably needs new valve cover gaskets (oil on the top of plugs). As well, we discovered two rips in the accordion tube between the AFM and throttle body - a little duct tape and she was good to go. There was a hesitation problem just off-idle, all now fixed.
Also installed last week were front clear turn signals and new taillights with clear turn signal sections. The following pics were taken by another friend - I used my film SLR camera, still waiting on developing. Will post those eventually.
A picture of yours truly taking a picture - inspiration from Mike (whit3ch0c0late) and this pic
my idea: dumpster shot!
night shots, I took these
For the 320,000km (200,000mi), still a very solid Camry.
In the gauge shot - the only reason the 'door open' light was on was because one of you fools opened the door while I was taking the pic when the cop cruiser showed up.
The 3rd gen Camry has to be one of the greatest cars ever made.
And wait, if it's a V6, it has the 1MZ doesn't it?

Did not know that. The 3VZ was the engine in the gen 2 Camry V6, right?
