Update / new mods / trophy / rolling shot /

Its been a while since I posted an update – over the last months I’ve done a lot of work and I’ve been to a couple of shows (won 1st place and NOPI NY) so here goes the pics

Older Rolling shot (with my dad driving)

new seats on left (RS) old seats on right (CE)

new RS fronts installed

new RS rears installed

This next one is a little harder to explain

-There used to be speaker grilles on the dash, where I put the two gauges
the guage pods were custom made using the original speaker pod
(they are texture and paint matched to the factory dash)
-Also, there used to be a storage pocket where the headunit is now
so I had a trim bezel made that goes on top of the headunit it had to be
custom made (my buddy did most of the work on this) (the factory location was below the HVAC)

the driver’s side pod isn’t a very steep angle / because it is almost right in front of me
it doesn’t have to be angled very much

The passenger side pod was angled a lot more so that it would point at the driver(me)

Here it is at NOPI, N.Y. (couple of weeks ago)

here is what it got

here is the first stage of Kickpanel moulding (more pics later when they are finished)

that’s it for now

Perrin Crank Pulley you can’t see
One Ton Garage rear axle spacers you can’t see
(except there is less wheel tuck in the back)

I better hurry up and get an echo too then! Neil will be jealous of your little vitz Will!

Congrats on the win at NOPI, you (and the car) definitely deserves it! I wish I could have went.

nice vitz. the greddy sc would be awesome. the Yashio Factory vtiz has one and on one of my Best motoring vids they used it on the Touge and it just flew through the course. Even keichi tsuchia ( Not sure if that is how it is spelled?) said he could harass silvias all day with it. I like alot1

thanks for the feedback

Hopefully greddy will be this winter, I've dropped plenty of money
on the car already time to slow down and regroup.
Then maybe Jan or Feb I'll pick up a Greddy SC if I can find one cheap.

Heres what its got (that I can remember off the top of my head)

2005=
-Tanabe DF210 drop springs
-DIY JDM headlights
-Heliums with AVS ES 100 (195/50/15)
-K&N Typhoon CAI (from a Scion XB)
-Optima red-top
-Various de-badge and “Vitz” re-badge
-minor minor audio
-RS rear wing
-Shortshifter
-Momo Knob
-RevCompetition Carbon Fibre front lip

2006=
-RS Seats
-RS centre console
-RS Steering wheel
-RS HVAC controls
-RS door pulls
-TRD rear lower member brace
-Perrin lightweight crank pulley
-One Ton Garage rear axle spacers
-Custom pods for AF ratio and volts
-Custom pod for headunit in Factory storage pocket
-Compustar 2way alarm / autostart / turbo timer combo
-Pwr door locks installed
-Pwr hatch lock installed
-more elaborate audio (kickpanels / centre channel / surrounds / amps etc…)

2007=
-Greddy SC?
-Header and full exhaust
-rear lower CF splitter/diffuser
-CF roof?
-CF Engine cover
-Rear disc swap ******maybe / maybe / maybe*******,
not really functional at all on such a lightweight car but there is a pretty good bling factor.

yo thanks mang

I kinda think of the theme as JDM/OEM+/Touge/IASCA SQ all at once.

Except for maybe the roof and the reardiffuser the outside is going to stay like it is.

I also might lower it a tad more. I'd kinda like tire tuck, only problem is, the bottom of the car (TRD brace in particular) is already only about 2 inches from pavement)

If I were to get coilovers / lower it some more and ever carry a passenger or luggage or both, the bottom of the car would drag like a minitruck on airbags
