Well I though I wasnt going to post any more pictures until I painted my truck, but I just got excited. I got my blocks in today and they are 20 days early. Still gotta lower the front, but that's for another day.
Before.
After.
A little suspension fun!
OH yeah also I don't know if you can notice in the pics, but there is no exhaust pipe peaking out behind the axle anymore. It looks a lot cleaner and better, I cut it off and filed it down at the first turn down under the truck after the muffler, so it looks a lot better. Also I grew tired of the red light theme I had going in the truck, so I switched it to blue. Pics of all that coming later.
Cheers!
^ Actually I just have it off. When I totaled my truck I just got a grill off of a 4x4 and used that for a while. I could put it back on, but theres not really a point since I'm going to be sanding and painting it pretty soon....plus I hate shiny chrome plastic. But yeah I guess I do get more airflow.
That truck is coming along great. Now all you gotta do is do the front, and it'll look even better. I know how much pain the front can be as compared to the rear. So when's it scheduled to get paint?
Well since I am painting it myself, because I'm always broke lol, I'm hoping to start sanding and body work on my next couple of days off. Dont know when that is yet, I find out tonight when I go into work. Then paint will come the next couple of days after that. My truck is actually a little lower after everything has settled. The main thing that is keeping it up is the tires. Gonna replace the 215s with some 195s soon, so that should look a little better.
When are you going to lower the front?? When I had an 88 x-cab I had it so low in the back it needed a notch, the frame would hit the axles. The front I had it so low without bump stops and no tortion bars.... Man it was cool, I used to break reflectors off the freeway, anyway GL with yours.
