i figure this should take me time but i scored this thing for 150usd

just got back and i scored a driveshaft also. all for 220usd and stuffed it all in my wagon. i also put a deposit on a 3sgte motor tranny ecu and uncut harness. i would post pics but it look just like the photo and the drive shaft has 2 carrier bearings and it seems to be the same lenght as the car. but if it is a bit short i can have spacers made to lenghten the driveshaft. as for the width of the camry vs the celica from what i've read the camry is 2inches wider but i could have misread it.

tomorrow i remove the gastank and rear suspension out of my car...free gas anyone? i'll be sure to take pictures of my progress. but i'll have to put them on a scanner when i get them developed.

stay tuned.....

update: i've finally got around to removing the exhaust, gas tank and the rear carrier. not the struts and hubs cause i still haven't removed the e-brake cable and i will be mounting the all trac hubs tomorrow. but the alltrac subframe is about 4inches too narrow. i can cut it and add 2 inches to either side or add 8inches to the car so i can bolt it on. also this means i will have to get the axles lenghtened and i will have to make 4 new lower control arms. i might be able to get away with using the fwd ones by cutting them down.

there was more light out than i thought

seems to be enough room for a driveshaft that is about 3-4inches in diameter

good thing i ripped out the tank so i can get a better view

load sensing porportioning valve, fuel lines and a bunch of other cr@p

this side looks cleaner. see that stud that isn't rusted. i might end up using it to bolt an adapter for the diff subframe. the rusted one will get removed

all that room now i know(hope) i won't have to butcher the car too much

stop sweatin my rims and my gap

see how narrow it is. i was that close to a bolt on but of course it's a camry nothing is bolt on

^this one has a small sideshot of the turbo saturn that i built the manifold for
