Went with a Magnaflow since I had a lot of luck with them on my Camry and I know they are highly regarded on this site along with many others. I looked up my truck and they offer a full bolt-up catback full stainless steel for my truck for around $650-$700. I called up and found out which muffler they put on that setup and got the stainless steel satin finish version of it. The muffler went for right under $100 with free shipping off ebay and install ran $250 with stainless steel tips. Piping is aluminized so it should last quite a while in my climate (no snow except maybe once a year.... and it's usually an inch at best).
The welds could have been done better but oh well...
The exhaust is super quiet when rolling through town at 40mph and on the freeway at 80mph it has a very slight drone.... you can listen to the radio at normal levels and have a normal conversation while cruising on the freeway if that means anything to anyone. When you get on it and when you're accelerating you can hear it's nice and deep growl (thanks to the 5.7L engine )
Looks awesome ......Any sound clips. I probably will go with Magnaflow also when the time comes, I had a Corsa on my last Silverado but they are waaay too much money. Nice, your truck is coming along quite well.
I thought you converted your truck into a dualie when I saw the title
Nice exhaust though.
me too

Brake lights aren't broken, I just don't brake.

Sorry guys.. I don't have a way to take sound clips as I don't have a camcorder nor a laptop
don't fret too much, I know for a fact that we've probably all heard a piped chevy. My guess would be that yours actaully sounds good since you spent the money to get the nice stuff.
Thanks. I almost ordered a set of 20" wheels and tires (chrome) to go on there the other day but decided to take a few days to sleep on it.... good thing too as my girl just lost her job the other day. She'll bounce back of course but it sucks she lost her job. She only gave me about $300-400 a month to help since I pay all the bills but it's enough to make me happy I didn't blow the money on wheels.
Maybe sometime in the spring I'll have 20s and a 2" drop all around (courtesy of Eibach)

That would look good, I'd like 20's myself (like the ones in my signature *sigh*), but the prices of rims and tires is just too much right now....Tell your girlfriend to get 2 jobs , j/king of course.
Damn i love it. The only thing better than those duals, is duals on a 8.1L or something of that size in chevy motors. Sorry dont know much about chevy.

...southern redneck going gangsta? Skynard meets 50 cent? Put a 2-4" lift on that with some BFG ATs or MTs, then we'll be talking. Sorry, I'm just not a fan of dropping trucks...takes away the whole aspect of it being a truck.
Way to go with the exhaust, though. The dual looks good.
