My lifted 05 Taco

The guys in the 05+ Tacoma forum have already seen this, but I thought some of you non-Tacoma owners might appreciate it too.

I just finished the Donahoe suspension lift. Custom made and powdercoated Boze wheels, Stinger 6's. Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor 275/70/17.

Thanks. It's a SnugTop. They make the best looking and best built shells, IMO. But there are no SnugTop dealers East of the Mississippi, so I lucked out when I found this one for sale.

I actually said the word "wow" out loud when the first pic loaded... Looks incredible man. Everything from the wheel fitment, to the ride height, to the headlights... its perfect! How much of a lift, any death wobble, and do you plan on wheeling it? Call me a weenie, but I love seeing pics of trucks when they're clean...

2 thumbs up from me, now I can't wait to get my 4x4!

Thanks.

The adjustable coilovers can go up to 3" of lift, but I have them at about 2.3"

No wobble or vibration. I had the wheels lug centric balanced at a high tech auto shop. The Wrangler Silent Armors are a lot quieter and smoother than the old Wranglers. These have Kevlar in them which adds strength and absorbs road noise. I really recommend them for the ride and handling, but they're over $230 a tire.

I'll take it off road, but no rock crawling or anything like that..
