so I know I don't post enough, and that is my fault. But this thread needs a littl explaination. Well, as some know I bought a 98 Taco TRD x cab 2 years ago, and I love it. Well.....I blew out one of the bilstein struts and cracked ALL the leaf springs (sandwich ones and the mains), so I had to replace it. Well, OEM toyota was $1500 for BOTH leaf assemblys (not including struts), well I went with Skyjacker rear leafs, heavier struts, and a front leveling kit to bring it up 3" front and rear. About a week ago I was driving in a fog, and you guessed it, damn deer ran in front. Well, I caught him between the headlights and he went UNDER the truck "Praise the lifted". He died, little pieces of deer on the undercarraige, and his head smacked the rear end. Not before crashing my bumper, hitting the brushplate and bending the cross member into the radiator. Total damages were $300 for supports, bumper and radiator. "toyota.......1 deer at a time"
