Talking Eye8Pussie's Supercharged Gen3 @ 267,000km

Well, since winter's coming around and my car's going to winter trim soon enough, I thought I'd take advantage of the nice warm weather to have one last photoshoot while the car still looked at its best...especially since people keep on asking for pictures of the supercharger

I installed the supercharger at approx 263,000 km, and I'm now at about 267,000km and still running strong. Some people might think that it's crazy to supercharge and engine with high mileage, but my engine was still in tip-top shape luckily. We'll see how long it (along with the tranny) holds out. Boost will be going up as soon a I get all the little kinks worked out....which should be soon...

This thread is for the people who have been curious about how my interior looks, as well as my engine bay...so enjoy and feel free to comment or ask any questions.

Now the car not only looks good, but also goes (pretty) fast

Nice and clean. I always liked how your exterior looked. How many pounds of boost are you running? and I recall one other guy tried to fit the TRD supercharger to a Gen3 V6, but had some issues. How'd you overcome the problems?

to answer ppl's questions...

allen -> I used to run without a ftont plate and looked sweeeeeet....but then after a year I finally got a ticket and I was tired of stressing out everytime I saw a cop so I stuck it back on...the location is...okay...to me....but I didn't want to go with the stock location mostly because I didn't want to drill holes in my bumper, and this also distinguishes it more from Tony's car- which ppl get it mixed up with all the time. so for now it stays....but we'll see....

and the gauges are all autometer sport-comp gauges- boost/vacuum, narrowband a/f (to be replaced with wideband when I get the money), oil temp, oil pressure, tranny temp
- the gauges are a bit overkill and makes my dash see more like a cockpit, but they've saved my ass on a number of occasions when my rad blew or lost coolant and I noticed that the car was running excessively hot

and I placed them like that on the column because I wanted to be able to see them easily while not obstructing my view....and I was going to mount them where the cupholder was, but I keep my CDs there and also like to use my cupholders since its my daily driver and I also take long trips with it

as well, yes: it's a 94 1MZ- the very first year that the 1mz it came out. along with the 95 1mz, it is distributorless and has a really strong ignition system, so it makes it one less thing to worry about

I'm currently running the stock 4psi pulley but I have a 6lbs and a 9lbs pulley as well....but I'm probably going to trade my 6 for a 5.5 to be on the safe side considering the age of the engine.

Fitment was not really an issue...I think there is actually more room after the install of the supercharger (firewall side) than with the stock plenum- I think my intake plenum is actually larger than the one on the gen4....maybe...not sure though- never got a chance to compare. And anything that did get in the way, we dealt with it with an angle-grinder

and there will be no burnout vids....no need to bring my tranny to an even more premature death

and who knows....coilovers may be a possibility one day

thanks for the comments guys....

oh, can anybody tell me which car I got the supercharger emblem from?
