pretty solid drop, looks really nice- those are the old rims from the SBC right? looks hot on a gen 5
Yea, i got these off of nate. BUt i got a question for you guys, what are you guys doing about the negative camber on the rear....i can tell there is quite a bit, IMO, in the rear. I know camber is not adjustable in the rear, but would camber plates help at all? IF so are there any for the gen 5 camry, or anythign that would fit it? I actually just bought some adjustable camber bolts...but they only move it up to a +/- 1.75....not sure how much the camber is at, but i think i might need like one or two more degrees
huge sound sustem it is...but if you look at the spring rates for solaras vs camrys, you'll notice that the rears on a solara has a much lowere spring rate that that of camry's. In all honesty, when i look at the before pics..it looked like the front end was lower....now i feel like the car is even. IF anything, i'm waiting for tein to release their gen5.5 springs and just use the rears springs, to bring it back where its suppose to be. since they only drop the car 1.5 vs my 1.9 to 2.0 drop. but since the spring rate is stiffer it'll look cleaner...in the end i like it either way, and to me the car looks more balanced the way it is.
Guys...thanks for the comments...umm lips, body kits....not sure if i have the money or if i want to go that route. Maybe in the future, but i'm not so fond of the jp kit as much as i use to be. Rear disc...too much money man, lol, at least to me. actually i just bought some camber bolts the other day and i lessened the negative camber i got. Next tires i get might have to be streched, or have the stretched look so i can bring in thecamber closer to 0. I'll post up some more pics as i take them after the wheel alignment.
