There wont be any damage at all from the snow. The only thing that would be a problem is if you drove out on salted roads so you don't have anything to worry about.

Well i gave it a good wax just before this so i am hoping it minimized the possibilty of damage. I'm just worried about the 1/2inch thick coating of ice all over it. Hoping it won't crack.

The CF hood componente or part that will fail when too cold is the resin, so it is wise to prevent impacts such as large stone impact, whacki with snow brush to crakc freexing rain and ice etc from happening.
When the temps are low, the resin (plastic) material is more prone to brittle fracture, But the CFibre will not lose strength.
Remember it is a Matrix material.

How come you guys are so worried about the snow? I can only think of noe person who doesn't remvoe their CF hood in the winter here..mine was on last witner and it was fine, ice snow, w/e. Just wax it up before winter. Why can't you brush it with a snow brush? You know your gunna buff it again with the rest of your car come spring time anyways.
