An update on the camry

I have been sorting out the minor problems that come with a new turbo kit, and no-one in the area with any expertise in the matter. I think I have sorted it out though.

I will keep you updated with more pics later, like the photo shoots all the other guys have been showing off.

Nice to see an update on the car. Haven't seen it for a while. Loving what you've done so far.

sweet. but you should consider eventually ridding a lot of those hose clamps for fully welded pipes.

what turbo is that. did you need such a long extension for it? was it to clear the oil crap.

looking good man!

Not bad at all. Atleast you have a turbo in that now What kind of numbers are you looking to try and get? Everything looks good, but it bugs me that you don't have side skirts, mainly because you took the plastic pieces off the fender and on the bottom of the door

the long extension is due to the direction the wastegate exhaust points, the tube is curved about 30 degrees, so the exhaust dump clears the engine. I could have shortened it, but the flange bolts directly to the stock exhaust hanger strut on the engine.

I will likely weld together what I can, but at the moment, I do not have an aluminum attachment on the welder, so it would cost me more than actually buying the attachment to have someone else weld it.

Also, I wanted to put back the pieces below the doors, but they were rusty and one or two bent on me when I pulled them apart, and factory replacement pieces were quoted at $2000.

I have a sideskirt piece that I might be attaching a little later.
I tried to get the rear bumper off nate, but missed it, someone else got it first.

And, apparently, after a little bit of reading, the stalling thing is because of the bov, not enough pressure being held back, I just need to adjust it.... I will be replacing it with a proper greddy one soon enough.

Thanks for all the compliments

lookin good man!

i can't see completely clear in the pictures, but did you rotate your shifter assembly? it looks like it's turned to face the driver more, that's pretty cool! does that help with faster shifts? or is it just something you did? it just doesn't look normal to me for some reason.
