After I finally being optimistic about the car lately, I came home this morning and saw that the strong winds we had last night had blew away my canpoy. Of course I checked my car b4 nething else, and I was heartbroken to see the damage it did. Alot of the minor scratches it did can be buffed out, and if it was only the hood that got such major damage (paint dug to the metal and dent) I would have been able to just paint the hood, but since behind the driver door got it that bad too I will just paint the rest of the car. I don't wanna take a chance w/ spot spraying and the paint not matching. Shouldn't be that expensive since I have no top to paint and my 2 bumpers where just painted 2 weeks ago. However, I'll have to see if it'll be worth it and if I should either try put it up for sale as is and buy my GS300 or trade it for a 1993 Celica Convertible 5 spd. + cash. What do you guys think?
^^I did the winds popped the thick strings I had the bricks tied onto, but I only had them on one side since the next side is beside the house and didn't think it would need it, and that wa the same side that did the most damage. I tied down all sides using thicker strings and quadroupled it this time. Shouldn't move now, but I'ma still put the feet in some big cans and put cement in them for added insurance.

sorry man......Now bolt the sucker down.......remember de saying: Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me...Don't let it ruin your car again...
No insurance won't cover it cuz I don' t have comprehensive on my car. If it was the Rodeo, then I would probably be able to. I'm going today to get an estimate on it. Depending on how much it is I'll get it done or not.
I would keep it and just repaint it. You would be downgrading if you went for that Celica imo. Get the car repainted and try to park it in a more secure spot so you do not have to worry about having that happen again. my 2 cents

I went to my friend that has a body shop who usually does my body work and paint for me. I got an estimate for $800 ($400USD) which will be everything except the 2 bumpers since they had just done them last week. I know you guys must say damn that's cheap, but its a quality job I'm going to get. The most a good paintjob would run here in Belize is like $1500 ($750USD). So it should be in the paint shop by next week, maybe 2morrow if I'm lucky. Then after that is done the Rodeo is gonna go in too to get a pearl white paintjob.

Cool bro, happy to hear that you decided to keep the car and repaint it.
