The "Ranger" comes with the 2.3L I4 base I beileve....

There were SHO Mustangs that had turbocharged 2.3L I4 that were as powerful as the 5.0L V8...this was back in the 80/90s

I think it was an SVO Mustang and it was stronger than the 5.0 of the years it was made...that means it was probably 190 hp!

Think the SHO was a late 80's early 90's Taurus...could be wrong.

That is correct. The SVO Mustang was an amazing mustang technologically speaking and so was the Taurus SHO wich ran from 1989-1995 in the Yamaha 6 cylinder form and 96-99 in the V8 form.

Oh, and Mustangs came with four cylinders (there were other turbo 2.3s like the early GT's, King Cobra, and Pace Car models) from 1979 -1993, not counting Mustang II's.
