195 would have to be stretched to fit onto the 15x8 which would leave a bit of a gap between the side wall and the lip of the rim.
personally i wouldn't get anything smaller than 235/50/15 if i had 15x8 rims.
I just like the stretched look ... Plus I dont think I can fit 235/50-15 tires on my Toyota Echo... Stretching tires is a way to fit wide wheels on small cars...
I stretched 205/50-15's on 15x8 before on my echo ...
