My 06 Tundra

Well it been three weeks and this is the first day above 30 degrees (33 ) so I decided to wash it. The pics aren't that great, the driveway was a skating rink so I left the truck in the garage. This truck is close to a base model, only options are it being an SR5, 4WD, bench seat, heavy duty starter, heater , heated mirrors, rear defogger, bedliner (I added a bed mat). I have tint and a clear bra for it but that will have to wait until it is warmer.

It really needs rims, I'm not feeling the steel ones, I'll be keeping my eyes open

I really like the color, Phantom Gray, it has a nice metallic shine to it

The rear slider is nice....cant wait to use it in the summer

Overall, this truck is great, perfect size, full double cab and a 6' bed. Its a little skinnier than the last truck I owned making it easier to drive in the city.

Hey Dana, welcome back to Toyota... Your truck looks great and the engine looks pristine as well... Also, looks like you have room for the family now.... I really liked the phantom Gray too.. Was looking at the very same color when I had a Tundra in mind...

Thanks. The new ones are very very nice, but the size of the prev gen was more to my liking, little skinnier and believe it or not the back of the 07 DC is smaller than the 06 DC (the width is bigger but legroom is less....the 07DC is a replacement for the old Access Cab) so I would have had to go with a CrewMax...I'm having a kid and a rear facing baby seat is still tight in my 06, and the Crewmax has a smaller bed than the 06 DC, which I do use. the 07's are nice but I really don't need the towing, extra hp or payload or added pricetag

Thats on the list of things to do in the Spring. We moved in this house in October and some old woman lived here and she painted the floor with regular house paint THe first time I drove on it, it tore up, the snowblower tears it up, its a mess....The floor itself isn't too bad, no oil stains (old hag owned a Toyota also ), in the pics its all water.

Milt I wouldn't mind having a dually either, that would be awesome.

Damon the name is still up in the air, but good news is that she is very healthy, no MS, retardation, etc, so thats really good. Dina wants to name the kid Lilly but thats my sisters cats name, so I don't want it. I still like Haylee or Sienna
