Thanks guys for the comments! The Montero was discontinued here in 2006 because it isn't really popular and it's getting old. It simply just can't compete with the Pilot, Highlander, or MDX. It used to compete with the Land Cruiser but because of slow sales, it then competed with the Highlander and Pathfinder and such. They are hit in countries like Pakistan and the Philippines because they are very good off-road. Here in the US, they are outdated because Mitsubishi never brought them over equipped with stuff like Nav, Bluetooth, or a flexible model range. In Japan, they are offered in short and long wheel base versions. Before 2005, the Montero was sold in the US in either XLS or Limited trim. Then in 2005, the XLS was discontinued and the Limited trim was the only one available and it costs $36,759. You could get a pretty nice RX350 or an RDX for that money. It's expensive and yet you don't have Navi or anything technological. What you get is a pretty big midsize SUV with leather, nice bulging off-road looks, good off-road ability, a sophisticated shift-on-the-fly 4WD system (ACTIVE-TRAC), and an outdated rear door that swings to the right. Also, for its 6G75 V6 it gets an EPA rating of 14 city....and EPA ratings are higher than what you get in the real world...=[
For exterior, I wash, clay bar, try my best with ScratchX to remove scratches and swirls, and then I use liquid wax. I don't have a buffer so I work all by hand..I want a buffer real bad. ='[. I don't have the patience to apply ScratchX 7-8 times just to remove one scratch.
Nice job man. And you are correct about it bieng a prefered off-roader in Pakistan along with the Land Cruiser.
On a side note, i think birds are offended everytime i wash my car.
