Well as some of you long time members know, I'd been swapping a 3sgte into my 95 coupe. I let the fall out with Luis and Team Redline Performance and the winter season set me back and just started focusing on other things... Now that the spring is here, I am getting some motivation to keep going with my project.
To Do List:
Electrical
Engine wiring
Radiator fan controller
Gauges
S-Afc
Boost control
Turbo timer
Security system
Finish audio
Mechanical
Make rear motor mount
Finish engine assembly
Build exhaust
Intake/Intercooler piping
Radiator, Fans
Front bumper
Fit trunk better
Fit hood
Finally, fill up fluids, do what it takes to get it running, set timing, set up the boost controller, and tune!
Today I decided that instead of using half of the wiring harness from the 3sgte and half of the harness for the coupe, I would make my own wiring harness from scratch. I figured it would be less of a mess and i would map out where everything was going completely as I went. That way I would know where everything is and not have any confusion.
SO... I snipped the ecu plugs, and have been snipping the plugs for the sensors and everything else needed for my ecu to function while at the same time labeling every wire so it's easier for me to wire everything up when i actually run the wires through the bay.
Here is the patch harness I made a couple months ago for the ecu.
Here are a couple shots of my progress with the harnesses...
