Should I repaint my sparkplug cover?

I just finished removing all the decals under the hood, changed all the blue silicone hoses to black, as well as stripped blue paint off all the metals and polished them instead. The blue engine cover will be carbon fiber in the future, but the company that makes the piece seems to have fallen off the face of the earth. So I am left with a choice right now of either leaving the cover blue, or painting it black. What do you guys think?

This is what I had before:

All opinions welcome, but please no bashing. Thanks.

I can't polish it because it is plastic; but there is a billet aluminum upper timing belt cover coming out that I plan on getting. It will go well together with a carbon fiber sparkplug cover whenever someone decides to market it again.

Thanks for chiming in everyone. I will probably paint it black when the weather gets better.

I was thinking red too, it will highlight the blue on your cam gears.

I finally painted it and bought this aluminum cover from Ebay because all black did not look right. It still needs some polishing. The piece looks like it was CNC machined out of a solid piece of aluminum at least 1.5" thick, very nice quality for $100 compared to the $300 price tag others sell the same cover for.
