Take the picture below and modify it any way that you want. Change colors, looks, background, etc...
The changes can be serious or silly. The changes don't have to make the car more desirable, they just have to make it different. They don't HAVE to be ricey either.
You are showing off your creativity and your chopping skills.
You must use the original picture as your starting point. Try to keep some semblance of the original pic.
You can make up to 2 entries! But if you do, they have to be significantly different from each other. Please send me final copies only. NO revisions after entry. Once you've entered, that's your entry.
If more than 20 entries are received, I might not use "2nd" entries. So please indicate which one you prefer, in case of that scenario.
Chopping is anonymous!:
Do NOT post your images here in this thread. Instead, E-mail them to: sales@sub500.com. Do not send a link to the picture. Send the picture itself. Please send it in JPG format. Please do not write your name anywhere in your picture. In your e-mail (but not your picture) please include your user name, even if you think that I know who you are.
You have until Thursday at Midnight to submit your entries, so there is no need to rush right away. Quality takes time. Voting will start on Friday.
Same rule in effect. If you enter, you MUST vote. Contestants that do not vote may be penalized.
During the course of the week, as entries are sent to me, I will see the chops. I have over 140 of these contests on another site, and have never had any issues. My skill and reputation prevent me from "stealing" any ideas. (If that's what you are implying)
Actually you got it all wrong. I was simply just wondering if you've seen past chops of that pic that's been floating around. If you have not, I was going to post them in this thread which will also allow others to see various ways they chop the picture and give them ideas.
not to doubt you, but i (probably along with others) dont know anything about you. i would hate to spend my time and creativity on something that will be used for some high school kid's photoshop class project.
Ghettosled:
This is purely for fun. It's not for a class project. I'm a 35 year old manager (leasing and Financial Services) of a Toyota dealership just outside Toronto.
I've been a photoshop junkie for years. As admin at another site, I have moderated over 140 of these weekly contests. On several other sites, I have participated in hundreds of various contests, both car related and not. In the 'chop community I'm pretty well known.
Once all the entries are received, a new "voting" thread will be started, and all the members here will be able to vote on the entries.
If things go well with the initial contests here, I'd love to get my own sub-forum.

Sorry to interpret your words the wrong way. Sometimes it's hard to get "tone" by internet. Feel free to post some pics in this thread just to give an idea of what we're looking for. I have no problem with that.
I just want official entries to remain private until the voting thread starts.

The contest has already started the entries were due on Tursday. I only received one entry though (and my own). Get your entry to me today, and I'll start the voting thread tomorrow!
