Oh btw that dent looks pretty fixable...as does the bumper, and the lights. Hood might be slightly warped but it looks like you could fix it for a while and drive it while saving funds.
I really havent looked at it yet, its so dark. I dont think the hood is really messed up, but i dont know. Mushroom, you live pretty close by, do you know where Fort Yargo is, in Winder, that is where i hit it.
The bad thing about it is that i was about to sell it or trade it in, but my granddaddy said it could be fixed for around 1000 dollars, does that sound about right.
^ Yeah winder is a very bad area for deer and other wildlife. I live in Gillsville which is basically Gainesvilles countryside and it's bad here. But I think if you want to replace everything with factory parts including paint and labor it will be 1-2k. But that fender looks like it can easily be fixed, by taking it off and having someone pop the dent out. Too much pressure though and you'll make it worse than it is. As for the bumper, headlight and corner, try looking for a junkyard that has the parts first. Pullapart in norcross is a great place for parts, and they might have a camry. There are a lot of junkyard in Georgia so just look in the phonebook and call around, you can probably pick up the parts pretty cheap. If not I'd say got with an aftermarket bumper if they make one for these cars, and a stock headlight and corner.
I pretty much hit those same spots but mine was hitting a car. I got aftermarket bumper, driver side fender, and a corner light rather than a headlight all for very low prices. The paint brought it up to about 1k though, it all depends on where you get it painted and if you have any connections though
Sorry to see man....that sucks....at least yours didn't come out like mine. This happened 12:30 in the afternoon and he dodged 3 cars b4 hitting mine....$4600...and this was after i drove home in a snow storm for 3 hrs....but again, sorry to see
^Ouch, that sucks man. Did you ever get that fixed?
Ya...the insurance people said that it was "act of nature" so luckly they covered the costs and what not....but it has NEVER been fixed nor will it ever be fixed to "factory" standards which really sucks. Mine happened Nov. 24 05 so 2 years but i guess it better than without it....
