Talking It starts

Well here it is my truck. After sitting for years I am finaly about to get to work on it. It hasn't been driven except to move it for almost 4 years now. The paint jod is thanks to bordom and 4 friends with spraypaint. Last time i started it the carb caught fire , so tell me what you think

I think it has a lot of potential. I like the stance as it is...maybe some bigger rubber, and an engine swap, and it could be a fun sleeper! Looks like a fun project to me! Good luck!

^^I agree, you'll have to do the entire truck over if you want it to look good.....Save your money and get a used prev gen Tacoma.

but yea, that things a peice of crap. get it reliable, use it as a chore whore. parts runs, beer runs when working on something nicer, and what not.

sweet, a buddy of mine has an yoto pick up thet just sits in his yard with brush around it. it looks like it would never start but u hop in and crank that thing and it starts. that reliablilty

Depends. I don't see a whole lot of rust (granted, these aren't the kind of pics you'd need to really tell), at least structurally. I think it's relatively solid. If you think this is a money pit...there's not a chance in hell I'm gonna post the beginning pics of my car . But if the frame or cowl is rusted, yeah...kiss it goodbye. But it seems to look pretty solid to me?

Of course it's a money pit, that is why it is a project truck, its for fun. It has some rust but not on any major parts (nothing that can't be fixed) and the frame itself is in good shape.
