i'm sure they bought theirs for a reason. no point in you trying to come over and say your truck is better than theirs. apart form showing pics, what does your truck have to offer compared to the tundra?

1. Onstar
2. Eaton rear Locking Diff.
3. FBF
4. Autotrac Automatic 4WD transfer case.
5. Heated washer fluid.
6. Rainsense Wipers.
7. 12 way dual power seats
8. 4mm Panel gaps (vs 8-10mm on Tundra). (Ok, not practical maybe, but an indicator of a better built truck with better fit-n-finish)
9. 5 star frontal crash test rating.
10. Better warranty (imagine that!! since Toyota is supposedly so much more reliable).
11. AFM
Plus, GM has more engine/drivetrain offerings (including E85 and Hybrids (classic bodystyle)). No exposed boltheads in bed (haven't had these since 1988).
....You don't see us running around Chevy forums talking about how they couldn't build a car if their lives depended on it. They have to make good trucks.... otherwise they would go under. I don't recall Toyota giving "Employee Discounts" and paying a years worth of gas as a last resort to get someone to buy their cars.
Oh yes I do!!! In full force!!!
Oh, and Toyota does have plenty of cash on the Tundra's hoods right now.
I admit GMs cars used to suck, and some still do. But they are MUCH better than they used to be. My wife's 2004 Impala is a VERY nice car and I would take it over a Camry anyday. 10 years ago I would not have said that.
If we are talking about looks, unless someone here owns a Ford, they shouldn't pass say that the Tundra is ugly. If you have a Dodge or GM and call the Tundra ugly, then in my eyes you lose all merit.
That said, Vmax2007, you owe toyotanation 150 bucks for advertising. You will be sent a bill.

I'll get the check in the mail right away
Oh and BTW, The Tundra is not ugly...it's "Fugly"!!! Darn, I lost all my merit with you, what will I do now?
another BTW: Your sentence made no sense? "...pass say..."???
You seem smart enough to know it's a typo. You also seem smart enough to not care about what i think. yet for some reason you still opened a bait thread on this forum. Why so? You don't seem childish enough yet you still posted a childish thread.
Any way you look at this thread thats a nice truck, i have driven ford, gmc and now my toyota and have not problems with any of them. a truck is a truck and thats a nice one.

Lets see here...
1. Costs money and really doesnt know anything useful.
2. Avaliable on a tundra I believe
3. Not everyone knows the abreviations smart boy.
5. As in windshield washer fluid? Heating doesn't really do anything.
6. I have eyes. I can see rain. I perfer to control my own wipers thank you very much.
7. I can also move my own seat. Im not a weak little girl. If you need a truck that big, I think you can move your own seat.
8. Panel gap size = not an indicator of a better built truck.
9. Pay attention and dont rear-end anyone.
10. Thats because your truck needs a good warranty, or the cars wouldnt sell.
11. Anal Fucking Machines?
E85 doesn't really help it...because we eat corn too! We cant put it all in our cars. Its also just as efficient as gasoline. Also, when was the last time you saw a gas station that had ethanol. As for hybrids, you guys have more models, because you have more cars, because you have more smaller companies, and because youre larger than Toyota. And yet, we are still able to take over the market. Seems you might be doing something wrong, eh?

i shouldnt really get into this, the whole debate yota vs chevy isnt good. lol.
anywho, i am indeed a Toyota/(yeah you'll howl at this one, but they are proving their worth in my family) hyundai guy. that doesnt mean i wouldnt look around.. at least in the truck market. chevy has been building big trucks for many many years. they make a good truck, the cars, idk about them, but anywho. the new tundra is a sweet rig and has a lot in the package deals.
take for instance, while GM has the ripoffstar avalible, tundra has inscreen dvd navigation as an option. and, yeah you can get 8 way power seats in the tundra as well AND rear seat dvd entertainment.
idk about the diff...
anywho, both are pretty good trucks, both have their pros and cons. i, (will prolly regret saying this) like the GMC version of the new 1500 truck. the exterior styling is pretty nice, although im not digging the dodge ram tailights. however, i like the interior of the new Tundra better.
Car and Driver picked the Chevy 1500 as their truck of the year or w/e they call it. toyota was third. the reason... their scoring rubric was askew. toyota had a higher overall score, but the category (drivers choice) or something similar, offset the scores a bit, making the chevy come out on top. tundra, according to them, is the gotta have truck, and the chevy is the truck to buy.
but in the same breath, they said, under the pros/cons of the chevy "A great truck thats light on hauling, but loaded with style, the perfect town crusier..." complaint: hauling ability. toyota, "tough truck... dadadada... something... best towing in its class." complaint: not enough ground clearance. hmmm, if your a truck driver that needs a truck, it should be obvious which one you should buy.
and lastley, i agree that toyota doesnt need a big warrentee to sell their vehicles. kia, they do, as that is their only selling point. kia return customers are not very high, verses toyota, it all has to do with proven reliabilty.

Agree 100% Thanks!! So, why did you cross over to "The Dark Side" if you had good luck with your GM and Ford? Just curious?
1. Costs money and really doesnt know anything useful. Know anything useful? 2. Avaliable on a tundra I believeNOPE!!! 3. Not everyone knows the abreviations smart boy. FBF = Fully Boxed Frame 5. As in windshield washer fluid? Heating doesn't really do anything. Oh really? Where do you live? 6. I have eyes. I can see rain. I perfer to control my own wipers thank you very much. I thought the same thing, until I understood how it worked. 7. I can also move my own seat. Im not a weak little girl. If you need a truck that big, I think you can move your own seat. Sure I can, but do manual seats have 12 movements? it's a LUXURY!!! And for the money we pay for these trucks, it should have it. 8. Panel gap size = not an indicator of a better built truck. Certainly is, see #3 above. 9. Pay attention and dont rear-end anyone. What about when some clown runs a red light and you T-bone them or some drunk crosses the centerline? 10. Thats because your truck needs a good warranty, or the cars wouldnt sell. Lame!!! 11. Anal Fucking Machines? haha Good one!!! I'll give ya this one, AFM is kinda a joke.

E85 is one of several oil saving supplementary options. Nothing among today's alternatives will replace oil, but the more we supplement it, the better off we are. It's in it's infancy, so no, it's not feasible...yet, my point is at least they are supporting the development of it.Someday we may all be driving something other than solely gas powered vehicles.
