Yikes!

It does look fixable.

Who's fault was it?

Here's a suggestion. I had lots of experience dealing with auto body and paint shops before.

Go to your local Toyota Dealership and ask them which auto body and paint shop they take their cars to.

Than take your car there.

The reason is, you can rest assure that they will do an excellent job on it.

Do not take your car to what your insurance company recommend you take it to. Those auto body and paint shop will not do a good job on it.

Once you take your car there, tell them that you will check on the progress of the car once or twice a day and DO IT. Also tell them that when they are finish, you will bring someone who is an expert to check on their work.

Do not rush them to do the work. In fact, tell them to take their time.

Only pay them by check or credit card. NEVER pay them in cash.

Good luck!

dunno

secrecyguy, thank you for the input, the dealer has their own collision center, but I don't trust those bastards, the 3 times they worked in my car, they either failed to perform the job or managed to stain my clothe seats with grease, they suck..
I'll stop by another big dealer that doesn't have a collision center.(great idea, thanks)

About check it everyday, I don't know I'm leaving the country next Monday and "I need the car" when I come back.

It wasn't my fault. some gangsters (cholos)( I'm Latino so I can say it )where running away from another car with some Gangsters (African American) guys and they just drove into incoming traffic and I was in that incoming traffic, the SUB on my left managed to avoid him, but I didn't see him coming (SUV in the way) and he came at me in angle (11 o'clock) you can tell in the pics, bumper wheel first, and kept going all the way to the back of the car. Note the left wheel it's like turning right, but the right wheel it's straight.

Thanks people for the good luck wishes, the car looks fixable, but It's actually twisted, the crash was on the left side and the right top of the trunk it's uneven with the right rear quarter panel, so let's hope they total it. This car will never drive straight again, and aligment will be an issue.

Thaks guys, I'll keep you posted.

El tano...i know of a great place that does body work. Its called prestige too auto body in the south bay. Jsut go there get an estimate. Tell your insurance company who you want the shop done by...and they will have an adjuster come in and take a look at what needs to be done and give you the necessary money. You have the right to choose what autobody shop does the work no matter who's at fault. I've had been there once...and had many others who recomended me to them. They are very professional and business like. Check out their website.
