In a Gen3 Camry V6 auto, it is way easier to yank out the entire engine even if the car was on a lift... I had to do that "plenty" of times...LOL

Hey King, how much power can the Spec III clutch hold (or what HP/TQ rating)?

You know, seeing your 5spd swap does get me all tingly inside... I always liked a 5spd Camry, but my dilemma was finding a decent clutch that can take all the power without resorting to a custom CM multidisc or a $4000 custom Tilton carbon/carbon...ROFL

How long until it gets completed? You still gotta take me for a ride (mind you though, it was all my fault for missing the past 6-7 meets or something

I think the rating for the stage 3 is somewhere aroung 450....so it's not quite enough for your car.....but then again, they also have a stage 3+, a stage4 and a stage 5 clutch for your needs

Completion....was supposed to be yesterday or today....but ran into some problems with the half-shaft....so hopefully soon though since it's my daily....

And YOU still owe me a ride in your supra! And you'll get a ride for sure....but I don't see the fun in it until I break in the clutch properly (after the car works)

I'll drop by your shop sometime later- how's that? I need some tuning tips as it is

on that note...anybody know places where I can pick up a solara v6 5-speed half-shaft?

This may be obvious and you probaly tried it, but did you ask a dealer for one? I mean they should have one in stock...the price is another story...
