Oooooooo, very clean ride! Very simple. Looks like your getting good with those retrofits now, those headlights could pass for stock easily! The only thing i dont like is the grille without and badging it seems kind of plain. So do you still have the EL and Teg? Oh and nice lip on the supra!

Thanks midnight... I agree as well that the grill looks plain... I already ordered the Lexus badge at the same day I ordered the grill (the stock emblem does not work)... It's just a matter of waiting the friggin emblem to arrive in the mail...haha

I claim being the first one to know about the Is.
I stumbled across his secret. earlier.
It looks great, and that is a GIANT turbo.
Just curious though, is the IS very hard to turbo? I remember Yukio saying that it is a pain in the ass to turbo, and that the 2jz in there was almost a "watered down version", but I've been reading from some IS owners, that it's not that bad...
Edit: Those are some really cool looking tires. The tread pattern is neat.
i'm really liking the projectors inside the IS headlights. they look so frickin' menacing! major props to ya, dude!

Haha, you knew about it the first week I had the car
The IS300 is indeed a lot harder to turbocharge... The front bumper barely has any room to run any piping, the shock towers are a lot narrower than the Supra/GS300/SC300, and lots of small stuff cluttering up everything.
The engine is also a more wimpy version, hence a lot of folks rather do a full GTE swap. The pistons I bet are a lot weaker than the GTE motor, rods and crank are identical though. However, most of the time it is due to the compression ratio, and a common fix would be to put in a lower CR gasket. I do see reliable 400-450 WHP on stock motor; and in terms of my tuning experiences, I see that working out too with factory compression ratio as long as I run 94 oct and water injection
Since my IS300 is auto, the good part about this is that I can just purchase an entire built transmission withoit sending in a core exchange. The trans should be here in a few days Rated for 600 ft-lbs of torque, but of course, this IS300 is going to be my truly reliable car and I won't be going insane with it. Most of my "budget" for crazy modding is still going into the Camry.
About the Camry, more plans with it later this season As you can see, the T67 that was in the Camry went to the IS300...hehe

Are you really coming to the next East End Meet? I must get a ride from you, in any of the 3 Toys you have. I drive a freakin' Echohatch so I'd like to know how it might feel if I strap rockets onto my hatch

Anyhow, mad for all the cars you worked on.
Yes, I feel so bad for missing all the meets... Everytime I miss the meet, I lose sleep...ROFL It's too much fun hanging out with the guys and just chilling.
I'll be bringing the Supra for this upcoming meet.. If the IS300 is completed soon enough, my bro will be bringing the IS...haha The Camry is currently too "crazy" to drive on a saturday night due to the recent cops harassing guys with mods again. If they see that engine bay, I afraid I will be chilling with the cops instead
