i'll be using the kit lens on my 350d and the nifty fifty, of course. i have a tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 on order to replace the kit lens, tho.

as for the 30d, i think i might wait for the price to drop as they are coming out with a 40d to replace the 30d soon. the 30d is a spectacular camera.
It is...its probalb the best camera i had in my hands...as far as the 28-135..it goes for like 500
b and has the lowest prices i;ve seen...and its roughly that price. That lens is awesome though...but it falls short of a wide angle...espically on our cropped sensors. FOr 250...the lens is awesome...but make sure you get to test a couple shot...i think there was a problem with some being really soft. Reagardless its an awesome lens with the IS. In addition to that i want the 10-22. YOu should check out accesphoto fourm boards.

^ looks good man....28-135 is basically the best lens i bought. But i only have purchsed two lenses. I kinda spluged when i bought the camera. I Was horrible at using the camera when i first bought it...but forcing myself to use full manual helped me to get better..and i can totally tell that the 28-135 was worth the money. Its funny is that i shot the same..jsut knowing the camera better makes the pictures a bijillion times better. Do you shoot anything other than cars? Let me know we should go shooting sometimes. I'd really like to shoot some of the cars you get to shoot.

yeh, i bring my camera everywhere i go...almost.

my primary use with the camera so far is cars, but i'd love to start shooting other things as well. i try to snap some shots wherever i go if i see anything that could potentially come out nicely.

i think i'm going to pick the 28-135 up...i mean for $250 brand new, why not?
