Is this for real? I need to find someone who lives in New Mexico doing crazy swaps like this! I would be free labor just to learn! Please keep us updated on this project.

Talking Here's some details!

It's a 2.5 litre M50 non-vanos motor out of a 525i makes round about 195hp 215torq
stock. The great thing about this motor is the boost capabilities .. it has much thicker cylinder walls than the 2.8 or 3.0 S50 motor you find in a M3.. Although if you were planing just going all motor i would sugest the S50 or S52 motors that will fit just as well and get you much better power numbers!!!Even better about any of these motors in a corolla is the fact that you can pretty much buy the turbo or supercharger kits for them and they clear perfectly in the corolla engine bay.. About the motor mounts and tranny mounts if people are interested i can have them priced out for you guys.. The other great thing about BMW motors is that all the motor wiring is on the motor.. so there is nothing more to do other than run it to ignition... and just buy a body harness from a hotrod shop (cost:$190-$250) to run to head lights turn signals brake light etc... Really not that hard to do!!!
