So i got some rims from a buddy for about 150 bucks...had some awesome bald michellin tires on it that i just couldnt afford to replace.
So i finally got some new tires on it so i could put it on my car.
I was going to get General Exclaim UHP tires but they'd have to special order so I just said to hell with it and tried these new Falken Ziex 912 tires.
Anyways i havent posted many pics of my car on here so i just thought i'd share!
thanks. u know what's wierd is that these rims raised my car compared to the oem alloys. I could only fit about a fist under the lowest part of my car before, but now i can fit a fist and a half...
oh well no more clearance issues with speed bumps. haha
I had a 45 series on before but that was just too much gap. Moreover it was the wrong diameter...my spedometer was off. I dont know it just seems wierd cos now in theory the diameter of the overall tire and wheel should be the same as oem.
even tire rack recommends 50 series for 17 inch rims on my car.
and yeah david thats up on Hunter Lane. Its a somewhat new developing area tho...but close enough. haha
i didnt know you were so familiar with my area. =P
ah well like i said i had tried them on with lower profiles and i didnt like the gap i had betwen the wheel and the strut/fenders. plus it threw the spedometer off as well as the gear ratios.
