Nikon d70s, nikkor 18-70mm, nikon sb-600.
I was also trying out a DIY flash diffuser / reflector. Some of the shots, I used direct flash as I noticed the flash was firing at full power with the diffuser / reflector.
Prefer to use bounce flash instead of direct, but theres nothing to bounce off of outdoors.
The other photos I posted (zoo & airshow) were shot in better lighting (day time) and with a different lense (sigma 70-200mm f/2.8).
what's the f/ rating on the nikkor lens? i would assume 4.5 or something.
the 2.8 lens is amazing, however. also, amazing are the pics you took with it.

The lens came with the camera (i bought a kit). For the money its a good lens, but theres obviously better lenses out there.
Now that I think about it, some of the pics I took at the airshow were shot with this lens. All the in flight shots were with the 70-200mm f/2.8 though.

Yeah, the Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 is a sweet lens. I'm very happy with it and the pics it produces. Its also about half the price of a Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8 VR.
I may buy a 1.4x TC for it, so the lens becomes a 98-280mm f/4. Taking the 1.5x focal length multiplier of the camera into account its 147-420mm f/4.
