Unhappy My Gray 1993 Celica ST is no more

This is where she layed after the hit. The celica held up nicely.

Is my airbag suppose to go off on an impact like this?
I got bumped by a semi on the highway and that sent me into a wall sideways at 60mph. This was on I-70 in colorado. I'm getting another car.
The bad part is that this gray car is mostly my dad's. He was pissed because we put in a new engine 6 months ago. I'm still happy that my white car is still kicking around.

Yeah, bad luck. Both celicas got freagin' hit. The convertible was sold and replaced with a sweet 1990 acura integra.

The white celica was fixed for $350 from my mechanic. And MAACO wanted $1000.00 to fix it. They're out of their everliving minds. I updated pictures in Offtopic of the white car.

Looking for another Celica?

1990 AllTrac. Pricey, but it looks like it is in great shape.

I couldn't correct the slide, the truck did the same thing cops do to spin people around. I cut across three other lanes of traffic. I was in the far right lane.

sorry for your loss, but the celica gave it;s life to save yours.......the airbag should have gone off with the front end, if 2 of the sensors were tripped
