just fyi, AWD wont help you stop on ice or even handle much better ... it will just help you get started ... so dont get too happy in the winter!

we learned that the hard way in my subie!

^yes i know. i had a jeep before. sometimes getting started is nearly impossible though depending on the situation w/ FWD. and you can have more fun in big empty unplowed parking lots!! but thanks.

^Just don't stop.

Ag3nt Sharp and me were playing in an unplowed parking lot once in his 4wd Honda Pilot and he stopped and couldn't get out. It literally took him 45 minutes to dig his way out.

ouch! lol. that would suck!! i never got stuck anywhere w/ my 89 cherokee, that thing was awesome we'll see when it comes winter time, i'll find out what it takes to get the scooby stuck! lol.
on the smart side though, i never drive fast in the snow besides big empty parking lots. thats how so many people crash in winter. esp ppl w/ AWD, i see more SUVs and other AWD cars crashed or in the ditch when it snows than anything else!!! it's b/c they think they can do anything b/c theyre AWD drr, WRONG!!! still gotta drive slow.

if its not a WRX, STI, or LGT ... they have minimal aftermarket support, unfortunately ...

thats why im trying to find a WRX wagon instead of the other Impreza wagons which look identical
