My other hobby.

Well, I love cars, all cars. I love cars so much that my list of cars I would like to own, is ebarassingly long. I can't afford all of these cars, let alone being able to mod them like I want, so I have an alternative. I live vcariously through toys. I buy cars that pique my interest, and modify them. I usually stick to 1/64th scale (hot wheels) but I do bigger stuff too. I thought you guys might like my most recent project.

Before:

After:

I have other plans for it, but this will get me started. What do you think?

Well, they have these little brackets that hold the axles at ride height, I eliminate those. Then, it wasn't low enough, so I channeled it the scale equivalent of 3". You can see in the picture where the bumperette is in the first picture, and how close it is in the second one.

I also thought I might include some of my smaller projects.

I've always wanted a WRX.

This is a before and under construction of one of my more detailed ones. The casting quality was super crappy and it had all sorts of seams and what not. I am in the process of "cleaning it up".

And here are a couple of my xMods. They are for sale if anybody's interested.

wow, nice! i used to always do stuff like that when I was a kid... Heck, I still do Props for working on such a small scale- the bus is awesome! My friend is really into VWs and has been showing me about the movement where they take vintage v dubs and slam them, but leave the rest of the exterior stock... very cool!

I wish they made a Toyota something, even an FJ. I haven't found a good looking body in that scale yet.

Kick ass models bro! I use to be into the model car thing back in the day. I use to use airbrush on the cars. I dunno what happened. OH RIGHT my brother had kids! THey played with them, and messed them up! You should definitely have some Toyota models.
