these responses are great. the pics are that shade on purpose. its a cannon powershot SD850is, not even that great a camera. it has a setting for color filtering, the pixs above filtered all but red color, everything else goes on greay scale. i thought they look real contemporary. guess im not much of a photographer
i do a fair amount of photography and i would recommend that you shoot the car on normal settings with a proper white balance, and then import the picture into Photoshop CS and carefully de-saturate each color individually section by section ... this way you will not get those gray marks all over the car, and the shot will still look great!

well im not a photogrpher and was just havin fun with it. but thats good advice for next time
