Well, I finally got the untuned solara on the dyno last wednesday. It was a Dynajet dyno (where they remove the wheels) so i think the numbers are slightly high, but they should be close no less. I was pleased to know the car is running slightly lean in the low end and slightly rich in the top end, but for no tune on the stock ecu the car seems to be adjusting extremely well! I put down about 217 whp and 209 torque. Current related mods are:
TRD Supercharger kit with stock pulley
GReddy Catback exhaust
Injen SRI
//ACT Street clutch kit
Fidanza lightened flywheel
Magnecor spark plug wires
NGK IK22 Plugs
I dynoed at Monkey Wrench Racing, if anyone has heard of them... they have built some insane 500 hp MR2s and celicas... really nice shop to find locally. Thanks to Nate at speed source for recommending them to me
In the spring, Ill do a full tune with a 5.5 psi pulley, walbro fuel pump, injectors, JP full exhaust, and most likely the SAFC2. I might go with a water/meth injection setup as well, but we'll see how the ol funds are. Im really excited to see what the car can put down with the new exhaust and a tune, should be pretty nice!
