and bB626, BSM stands for Body Side Moldings, the strip on the door.. its supposed to protect your door from door dings and shopping carts, things like that.. but without them, the car look super clean

i agree. taking the side molding off looks cleaner. i know because my brother took them off of his '85 Corolla. i would post pics of it, but i dont want to thread jack.
