First try at HDR and Stitching (Deadly to 56k)

First try. I notice some stuff I could of done better, but oh well. Im pretty proud for my first attempt. I know HDR isnt for everyone, but after doing them, you really appreciate what you can do with this feature. Stitches are just cool.

HDR's - Most are just 3 images
Stitches - resized to 1600 x (xxx) sorry, anything smaller would be awkward to look at.

Oh and one of my car for fun.

Comments, constructive criticism welcomed.

Matt

ah.....well can i just say that Photoshop (both CS2 and CS3) SUCK at HDR, and i highly recommend you try Photomatix

after you Merge & Tone Map in Photomatix, then save the img as a JPEG or w/e and open it in Photoshop CS3 to do the rest of the work .... thats what i do, and the results are much better IMO

for everything else, Photoshop is awesome

my boi Casey (with the white R33) took some great HDR pics from the meet last Sunday .... i think they worked well, even though cars were the subjects

examples:

more can be found here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/teckmethos/

some work out incredible, some work out with too many colors & reflections (imagine that!)

Those look nice Venom. I think the HDR looks best in scenery purposes. The bike looks nice, but anything with people, they look orange lol

Basically taking 3 or more pictures with different exposures. Then you tie them together. That makes a 32bit image (compared to a 16bit normal picture) which is full of colors. You can edit it to make them surreal or actually completely "perfect". But you must make it back into a 16bit image for saving purposes.
