finally got around to getting my windows tinted. 5% all around the back half and 70% on the front two. hopefully this summer it'll be lowered and rims.
after old purple tint was remove.
the front are not that dark

haha i would of tinted the front driver and passenger side darker but CHP and some PD get anal about having dark tinted windows up front.

why 70% F 5% R? thats such a big difference from front to back ...
there is a limit to how dark the front can be. in certain area, the local PD are really strict about having them tinted. i think the legal limit is 70% for the front if i recall correctly in CA.

i thought the limit was like higher ... i personally prefer 35% all around rather than something drastic from front to back
just checked the laws, its ridiculous that in a state as sunny as Cali, you guys can only have 70% in the front
i think im going to have mine redone as 30% all around (it was 35% all around but a layer peeled off the front sides)
yeah if it wasnt for the law and them PDs, and CHP cracking down, i would have gotten it to 30-50% for the front. that'll do for now.

I've had 35% front and 20% rear in socal for about a year and haven't had any problems/encounters with the cops. I was also told that no tint was allowed on any of the front windows. Looks good though
^^ thanks. 2 buddies of mine just got busted for having them too dark of a tint. one here in sacto and the other back in redding. but then again, they have the loud fart cannon.

Hopefully summer you do get new rims. Tint aways makes a care look a whole lot better.
yeah it does. went from purple (old tint) to clear (after old tint was removed) then black (after it was tinted). saw a major play of what a window(s) tint can do. hopefully some one will get desperate enough and let some nice rims go for a good prices.

looks good- for rims.. how does $250 sound? one ov my boys is sellin' a set ov rota 17" for 250. Idk if that's ur style or not but if it is- you better get a hold ov him. LOL
