HIDs installed in my brother's RS5 xB

yes, i said HIDs with the "s". LOL! my brother ordered 2 different HIDs for his xB. one for the headlights and the other for the foglights. the headlights are 6000k and the foglights are 3000k, both are different brands (not from Japan). here are the pics!

the location of the ballasts. the headlights are near the struts.

the foglights are on the bumper support.

day shots. these pictures were not photoshopped. my brother used his Nikon D200.

night shots. only the headlights on.

now with the headlights and foglights both on.

Yellow fogs FTW!!! I'm running the same brand HID as the ones in your Bro's fogs.

maybe it's just the white balance of the camera, but those 6000k hid looks way purplish.

Looks like another xB will be blinding me at night. I hope I don't come across your brother on the roads.

Johnny... I thought your brother knew what tasteful modding was when he had the AE86. I'm sorry... that output looks absolutely awful.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

well, it is kinda purpleish. its because its 6000k aka "diamond-white". if you want white-white, 5000k is where is at.

but you thought my brother lost his taste when he converted the front end of the AE86.

speaking of his AE86. he recently switch his HID back to stock because he doesnt want to get too much attention.

lol Well, I didn't like the new Levin front end of the 86... I liked it when it was the Trueno front. But ah well... to each his own.

Either way, I think he should've done a projector retro. But you know me. I'm a hardass when it comes to HIDs lol.

There is something very very wrong with that light output. There shouldn't be any light above the cutoff but instead there is tons. Talk about glare!

Yeah but usualy halogen projectors don't produce that kind of a cuttoff unless the bulb isn't seated properly. Its hard to tell with that pic cause you can't fully see the cuttoff patern with the wall.
