I didnt want too... But when i saw the lip on the 18x9 i just had to get it...There TORK Imagine in Gloss Black... 18x8 with 225/40R18 and 18x9 with 265/35ZR18... I just love the lip on the back... They had to use spacers (not sure how much) and hammer the strut also so it wouldnt rub in the back... I orginally wanted x8.5 but they only had it in 19s in stock and i couldnt wait any longer... One week on two donuts is too long as it is...
Im going to drop it on the weekend... So ill post some better pics then... I think im only going to drop the front though... Ill see when i get all these tires adn broken rims out the back
the overal rolling diameter of the rear wheels is huge..... but i'm sure the slightly taller profile balances out the fact that they're 18" rims.
i can't say i like it, but i also don't dislike. i'm not gonna judge about staggering a FWD, since it's to each his own. but you definetely want to pull or roll the rear fenders to accomodate the wheels better

Im not even going to bull shit... Im laughin @ myself right now but when i saw the lip...... It was just love @ first sight... Clearly its only for the look... and i just love the look... Hopefully my friends dont get a hold of these and i can trade them over to my next car which should be RWD
As for rolling of the fenders... Im lookin it up right now all the details... Its still rubbin... I was told it would stop after 2 days... Clearly something is going to rub off... I thought it was inner rim from the sound but it feels untouched... Well by this weekend ill sort it out
I like how people often post pictures of their cars from every possible Myspace-Angle yet they never put a clean side pic anywhere, so in the end we never get to know exactly how the car looks.
/rant I just got up.

It's alright but I don't understand why u rocking 265/35 tires for the rear for 9" width wheel??? I think 235 or 245 at most was good enough and probably minimized the rubbing issue by alot.

i bet the 265's help protect the wheel a little better - which is understandable after his last set was ruined by his friend .... although the fact that its 35 sidewall might negate that somewhat

you should definitely take more pictures - as to the above comment about being flush, it seems that any lower offset and they would be sticking way out past the fenders ... but i cant tell from the pictures

Well just checking up on it the 265/35/18 has the same sidewall as 235/40/18. But 245/40/18 would of been more sidewall and wide enough for the camry even with the 9" wheels. Well whatever just didn't see 265 tires rocked on a camry but as I can see too much work for it.
I was going to wait until i got it dropped to take more pics... But it seems i cant do it till prob next week sometime... Going to roll the fenders today before my entire tire is dug out so ill take some proper pics with a proper camera... But the whole setup sits exactly where i want it... Very Flush if i do say so myself
And to all those who say staggered just doesnt look right on a RWD... to each his own... I was the same exact way but when i saw the lip... it was a wrap i couldnt help myself... Hopefully i might can find myself a clean turbo mr2 and i can drop these on with some super low profile tires (there 5x114 also right?)...
As for the tire sizes... Im new to this tire reading.. i was going to put my other two 225 on the back thinking that its only stretching .5 more inches... from what i have seen some other people do its not that bad http://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread/310541 ... But the wheel guy told me i would prob fuck up my lip if i did that... And seeing how i am no expert in stretching tires i just went with it
i think staggered looks great on a RWD. Not so much on a FWD
It also compromises safety and the handling characteristics of the car, in some cases making the car become unpredictable under some situations. But it's not my car.... so whatever floats the OP's boat I guess.
