...2000 Cadillac Seville STS. Picked up last week after almost a year and a half of looking for one. 54k miles, Sterling Silver w/Pewter Interior. 4.6L Northstar V8 (300hp, 295lb ft of torque). I love it so far, really, really smooth. Don't be upset though, I still have the Camry. My mom has a Yukon XL and gas is killing her, so she is now driving that. Only downside to this car is the gas mileage isn't as great, but for a big V8 car it isn't bad at all.

I've always been fond of the '98-'04 Seville body style. Something about it really just turns me on While the gas is more expensive, I make enough at my job to pay for it and the car payment as well. I don't drive nearly as much as I did when I got my Camry 2 years ago, and my mom said I can drive it whenever I want. Insurance is only $2 more expensive than the 'yota for some reason, and it's full coverage.
The only negative to Cadillac ownership is repair costs. Luckily, the major one (blown headgaskets) has already been fixed along with new water pump, motor mount, and belts. Working at a Caddy dealership does have its ups, including discounts.
I'm done talking now. Haha.

So far I'm seeing 18 city and 23 highway. Not bad for such a big car. I have yet to take it on a super long trip, but these engines are capable of around 26MPG if you use the cruise control quite a bit.
On the other hand, the build quality is actually a step down from my Toyota. There are lots of "old" GM inside, meaning cheap. The leather is much nicer than my Cam, and this car is much more comfortable to sit in, but the weatherstripping around the doors likes to fall off, and the door jam material is straight from the Cavalier. Cup holders are a joke, and the headliner is typical GM mousefur. Otherwise, I love this car to death. Would I have payed $53k new? No. Luckily, I only payed a 1/5th of that!
