camry was wrecked a few months ago ... theres a thread in the Gen 3 section ... and yea, i didnt want an automatic but this is one of the few cars that met my picky criteria (<100k miles, SE, mint exterior, etc.)

and auto with ka24 is fine....cuz we all know that the SR will go in with a 5-speed easily enough....but why do what everybody else does? start looking for an RB

it will be a 5spd SR car eventually, you are right ... and the RB isnt original at least in the south, plenty of ppl do RB20s and RB25s, and the 26 is too expensive - at that price you might as well put a 2JZ in it, but i cant do that either cuz my good buddy Matt is already building one that should be done in the next two months
ive gotta say this much about the S14, other than the obvious reasons why this car is great ... the chassis with stock suspension is about as stiff as my camry on k-sports set to full-soft, but without all the bumpiness - says something about the torsional rigidity of the s-chassis, its such a different feel from the camry and i loved every minute of the 8 hr drive home

I'd rather have an RB26 than a 2JZ myself.
Anyway...nice find on the S14, although the slushbox needs to be gone like yesterday. The car looks to be in phenomenal condition. Can't wait to see the mods start happening.

Nice choice Venom. My friend had the exact same one but totaled it unfortunately . I think he said he was planning on getting another one and planned to do some sort of motor swap.
2JZ > 1JZ ... but along with that 2JZ S14 that my buddy is building, there is also a guy i know building a 1JZ S13 locally - from seeing both projects, theyre about a $10k build which is out of my league until i get my first job as a college grad
