Ebayed this for $26 with insurance, shipped to my door.
Sounds good, noticed a small increase in lower RPM Horsepower.
Here is the final installed product. That tube is METAL, not plastic BTW, which was a plus, I bought some Gloss Black Engine Paint at work, so its all good.
Here is a wider shot. My engine bay is dirty....
Here you can see the stock air box and ducts removed completely.

I hope that works for you. It sounds like it will for a while. Sorry to be the negative, but there are a few issues with those that I have:
-you can't clean your engine with that there.
-If the filtration is not sufficient, you will get damaging particles in your engine (pistons, oil).
-how long is that filter going to last?
-what do you replace it with?
I don't buy the hot air issue like others, but I picture anything floating around under the hood is going to stick to it. This includes steam from overheating, smoke from oil leaks on exhaust parts, rain, dust from inside the bay.
it'll be fine, i've been running a snorkel-less airbox with a K&N filter for a while now. sucks air from the side of the engine bay behind the battery.

1. It is removable, easier to remove then the stock air box.
2. It is the same thing as a K&N Filter, just not name brand. Filtration will be fine.
3. Oil based Mesh Filters in most cases will last a life time, if they get dirty, purchase a K&N Filter Recharge kit, base price, $19.99
4. Another Filter like that. All those wide mouth filters are universal. Ebay is the cheapest place to get them, or you can purchase them from TFN Sponsored Vendors.
Someone asked about installation. All I needed was a socket wrench, a 6inch extension, to reach the bolts within the bottom half of the air box, and then a smaller socket to tighten up the hose clamps once everything was in place.

Hey Man I got the same exact one in my car. Its pretty sweet. Did you have to modify the O2 sensor to reach because I had trouble with mine? I also pulled out the plastic air ducts that ran to the air box so the filter would fit. Just some advice...when you go to get it smogged, it won't pass, Not because its messed up but that intake doesn't have the numbers they need, find them from your airbox and sharpie them on, I dont know if that would work though. Just make sure you keep your original air box. Im from California so smogs an ass over here, check for your state.
could some1 please explain what the difference between short ram and like CAI are to me please?
thanks
A cold air intake extends to the front of the engine bay and sucks in cold(er) air from outside where a short ram takes warm/hot air in from the engine bay. Colder air is more dense, so it has more oxygen to use when combusting fuel, however, short ram air intakes can often take in more warm air than the relative volume of cold air from the CAI due to the cone filter, thus essentially making the performance about the same. Having a ram air intake go all the way to the front of the engine bay to take in cold air in high volume is where the real performance boost (though still not much) is.
