My '98 ROLLA (PICS)

This is my ROLLA. I have made 3 minor mods so far. All appearence. Not going to modify the engine. I can only do 70 on the interstate...whats the point?? Only one i might make is a CAI...maybe....

Anyway, back to the original reason. I have only had it 8 months and had one or two minor hiccups, like Power steering went out, and oil consumption. I have made 3 mods so far with a few others on order.

Car as it looks now...

Rear end...no mods as of yet. Carbon taillights on the way tho. (Girlfriends '09 Malibu in the background too.....)

New handles on front. More on the way for rear doors...

Clear JDM corner lenses, with the purple bulbs...

Old lady hit me in a parking lot while i was stationary Only had it two weeks when it happened. Plus a better look at the purple corner lights.

Only interior mod so far, red illuninated cluster....

like i say, more mods in shipping as we speak.... I will add pics as i make my journey through my mods.....

I don't know if you got your car as a CE or LE. You should have gone (or stayed with) color keyed door handles. Cleaner and more elegant that way.

I am going to paint it next year. Completely get it down to the metal and get it done white. The handles on the front were snapped off when i purchased it...its what the dealer replaced it with. So i figured i can get new ones for the back and finish it next year when i paint it...

Make sense now??

I would also suggest getting low powered low beam HID bulbs at 55w, high beam HID bulbs at 65w. Those don't require the HID conversion kits or actually having projector lights. I've got the low powered HID bulbs and they look very nice & white. I'm not trying to go and blind people, but they're certainly brighter than the factory bulbs.

You also might want to go for different tail lights...these are the altezza carbon fiber tail lights. There is another one that has a mirror background, but that one looked too ricer!! I'm not going to change out the middle piece since I've read that most people break the factory plastic plugs and by using aftermarket middle pieces actually don't have good seals in them so they tend to attract lots of mold and moisture!

Here are mine which I just got from Fedex today!

And these are the factory ones:
