RedPhoenix's new (eventually to be) Daily Driver... oh snap
I just bought this 1988 Turbo/Auto shell for the cost of a Lexus oil change... and I want to make this into a beater/sliding/reliable/daily driver... I do not know much about the origins of the car, but I do know, it has been converted to manual, the 7mgte/R154 have been removed (why it was cheap...), has LSD, 90% of the interior is there, original paint (and it shines) and that it seeks a 1uzfe.... and something besides steelies!
Some pics for now... The car will be getting a good make over and cleaning so I can see what I need to do on this thing...

Took advantage of the rain we have had to do a fast Dawn wash... Also looked through all the crap in the car and put everything in the hatch that I wanted to keep... Ignore the 1uzfe/tranny engine stand and 1uz crank, lol.
Front/Rear bumper need a better cleaning... also.. 93K miles!
Picked up a JVTR 3 row aluminum radiator from one of the past owners for $100.... Also during the junkyard hunts, picked up some better wheels. Crown Vic Mesh Wheels... They are made by BBS (also says Made in Italy).
I got some 225/50/16 tires mounted on 2 of the wheels to see how it looks. I like it, a little boxy, but it works. Obviously since the front is jacked up sky high, the wheel will sit outside with its low offset. If its anything like my SC400, it will camber in nicely when it has the weight of the engine again. The rears are perfect. Just gotta get some another set of 2 for the other side... or I can take the 205's that are on the steelies now and mount them.. what to do what to do...
