Actually, he had a roll cage. I'll find pics of it.
It was a BOLT ON roll cage. and guess where they bolted it to? the floorpan and wheelwell... totally punctured through. they had to grab a sawzall to cut off the bottom of rollcage so the car can roll to the trailer. when they flipped the car back up, it sat up on the bottom of the rollcage
driver crawled out and tried getting passenger out. it was his dad's car (60k investment)
passenger went to hospital for soreness.
Note -
driver's arm in the flip pic

front lip under front wheel as it locked up.
anyway, it was one epic day. Outside takin pics from like 9 til 7or8 is just intense.. image stabilizer lens are heavy but worth it.
I loved every bit of it! Gimme some time and i'll toss in more pics!
wow sucks about role cage then. looking better at the pics the guy is lucky his arm didnt get crushed and he was wearing a helmet. one thing i can't help but think of is if the flip was avoidable.
Hey dubVipers, I was at the track that day, Drove the White mustang gt, my friend was the passenger, he drove the white miata, i took him the the minor emergency place and he is ok, no broken bones, mark on his head, possible concussion. The harness and the helmet saved his life. Can i get some of those pictures sent to my e-mail P90playa@aol.com I would appreciate it, my friend wants them.
P.S. His parents might not let him race anymore, but he wants to
Good thing he's fine! I was the group from Wichita, KS of course.
In this case, the harness and definitely helmet saved him. I'll post up better pictures of the Crash, you can easily see the rollcage puncture through. i'm currently making a gif with the pictures centered and all.
You can see me change settings on my camera lol.
And then, i realized i took excess of 450+ pictures on my computer folder haha
