I only like the stretch tires on classic Japanese cars, like the 1969-1979 Skylines, 1979-1985 Cressidas, Old S30 Fairlady, Glorias, and Mark IIs. I don't really like the stretch tires on modern cars but some do it well.
not even... you must not understand the dynamics of wheel fitment
no, stretched tires ARE retarded from a performance and safety standpoint. its done to make a wide high offset wheel fit into a dropped cars wheel wells without rubbing or fender rolling.
you're royally fucking with how the sidewall handles load when you do that, its as bad or worse than putting too wide a tire on a wheel. a correctly sized tire when loaded will compress the sidewall on itself in a vertical fashion with minimal wiggle side to size. a stretched tire or tire too wide the load goes at a diagonal and the probability of the tire bead coming unseated during high load increases greatly.

I never said it was good for performance.
I never said it was good for safety.
I know everything you just stated.
I do NOT think its smart for a daily appilcation.
I do realize that in MY opinion it looks fucking sexy.
