Refinishing lips on my wheels (semi teaser)

well ive had my wheels for 4 years now and they were definitely starting to show their age mainly the lips. so i decided to rip of the clear and sand and polish them up. people weren't kidding that this stuff is time consuming. only got one wheel done now so i thought id show a comparison

kinda hard to see the differences unless you saw it in person. ill get more pictures as i continue. im also going to polish up my stock muffler since ive never seen it done on a camry.

FWIW, usually clear coated polished lips on aluminum rims are raw polished aluminum which means if you remove the clear they will corrode unless you hit them with a corrosion inhibiting aluminum polish every once in a while or get them re-clear coated. Re-clearing them shouldn't cost much.
